About
Infrastructure for therapist self-determination.
Thetsy is where licensed therapists turn what they already know into published resources, private client tools, and income they control — starting with Creator Lab, and growing into a platform they help shape.
Why we exist
The problem we're solving
Clients increasingly find help through AI-assisted search — not directories. The mental health content they find first is written by influencers and brands. And the platforms promising to fill a therapist's caseload take a cut of the relationship along with the fee.
The fix isn't therapists posting more on social media. It's structured, credentialed clinical content that search engines and AI systems can find, trust, and surface — owned by the clinicians who made it, at prices they set, without giving up their client relationships.
What we're building
A front door, and the practice behind it
Creator Lab
The front door: a six-week guided production sprint where therapists publish their first videos, activate client spaces, and make their first sales — with a small cohort of peers.
How Creator Lab works →The platform
What therapists graduate into: publishing and selling at prices they set (keeping 90%), private client spaces, programs and cohorts, and a vetted referral network.
Community at the center
Therapy is isolating work. The Sustainable Therapist community is built into membership, and therapists can host member communities of their own.
Who's behind it
Built by a therapist, from inside the profession
Thetsy was founded by Carrie Beck, a licensed therapist in practice who has lived the problems Thetsy solves — and who is building the platform alongside the therapists who use it.
The goal is not to replace the therapeutic relationship — but to strengthen the ecosystem around it: the discoverability, the tools between sessions, and the income that makes a practice sustainable.
"Therapists should own the conversation about mental health — not influencers, not brands, not algorithms. And they should own the income from it, too."
Carrie Beck — CEO & Founding Therapist. Licensed therapist in practice, building Thetsy from inside the profession.
How we're structured
A public benefit corporation
Thetsy is structured so the mission can't be quietly optimized away. We're a Public Benefit Corporation with therapist self-determination written into our charter.
When therapists sell on Thetsy, they keep 90%. And our 10% access-fund commitment comes out of Thetsy's share — never therapist payouts — funding mental health access for underserved communities.

What's live today
Creator Lab founding cohorts
Six-week guided sprints for the founding group of therapists — application and license verification required.
Therapist Communities
Gated member communities therapists host themselves — discussion feeds, tiered access, and recurring membership income.
Continuing education
Therapist-attested CE-eligible courses, with attendance tracking, assessments, and certificates built in. Creators attest compliance; Thetsy provides the infrastructure, not the certification.
Help build it from the inside
