Expanding access to mental health care
We believe every person deserves access to quality mental health support — not only those who can afford it. The Thetsy Impact Fund exists to close that gap.
Our commitment
10% for access — from our share, never theirs
Thetsy's 10% access-fund commitment is funded from Thetsy's platform share — never from therapist payouts. Therapists keep 90% of every sale; the fund comes out of ours.
This is not a marketing pledge. It is a structural commitment built into how Thetsy operates — because a platform that genuinely supports mental wellness must contribute to the communities it serves.
How it works
Founder-led, publicly reported
The Impact Fund is founder-led at this stage. Here is how decisions are made and where resources go.
The fund is set aside
Each quarter, the access-fund portion of Thetsy's platform share is set aside in a dedicated fund reserved solely for community mental health initiatives.
Organizations are selected
The founder identifies nonprofit organizations and community programs delivering evidence-informed mental health care to people who lack access to private practice.
Impact is reported
Allocations and outcomes are shared publicly so that therapists, members, and the broader community can see exactly how funds are being used.
Transparency
Impact reports
We are committed to publishing regular impact reports so you can see exactly where the funds go and what they accomplish.
Looking ahead
Deeper therapist participation
As Thetsy grows, we plan to deepen therapist participation in the Impact Fund. Therapists on the platform will have the opportunity to nominate organizations, provide input on funding priorities, and connect their clinical expertise directly to community need.
This is a long-term commitment. We are building the infrastructure thoughtfully so that community input is meaningful, not performative.
Be part of the change
Every therapist who joins and every member who engages with Thetsy contributes to this mission. Your participation is the foundation of the fund.
